Students from the 2021 The First Rule Don’t Talk About 2020 Shirt, Hoodie, Tank top, Sweater Peter Gruber Code of Law Clinic (ROLC) at Yale Law School, in conjunction with the Center for Legal Campaigns (CLC), published comprehensive guidelines for major states to protect the right of voters and stop voter intimidation before November 3, 2020 election.

ROLC students developed the tutorials, which were published on the CLC’s democracy website. The guidelines provide complete information about federal and state law and resources to protect voters from threats, including voting rights rules, polling site conduct, observers, firearms, law enforcement, masked missions, and similar topics.
Yale Law School students and members of the Pirzada Ahmad Code Clinic ’21, Alex Boudreau ’21, Lisa Chen ’21, Kate Hamilton ’22, Laura Pietrantoni ’21, Matthew Quallen ’21, and Georgia Travers ’21 worked with the guides. They are supervised by Lang and Hope Metcalf, Clinical Lecturer in Law and Executive Director of Orville H. Schell, Jr. International Human Rights Center.
