Sally Fitzgibbons, even admitted by herself, was there, already.
The 29-year-old, who won her first World Surf League tour in 2011 at Bells Beach, has now had a world-wide career, competing and beating the best.

After 11 top-flight seasons, Fitzgibbons is now one of Australia’s most famous faces – but she’s yet to break that elusive world title.
Instead of putting her down, that fact was driving Fitzgibbons for a long time out of the season.
“I tried very hard,” she told ABC, before a big wave at Kiama Beach, not far from her native Gerroa in New South Wales.
Fitzgibbons made the most of the World Surf Federation’s decision to cancel the 2020 season by developing his style, in an effort to challenge the world title in unprecedented competitive conditions next year.
“I guess none of us really knew if that was our bottleneck if that was the format that really matched our style of play and our results from years ago,” she said.
With a coveted Olympic spot also locked, Fitzgibbons believes advancing in aerial exercises will be the key to her success.

“When you leave the wave and you’re up there, it feels like flying in our sport.”
For the first time in 2021, the World Surfing Federation (WSL) will take place in the final round, which will see the top five male and female players in a dramatic surfing format.
It’s a change from the traditional model, where surfers accumulate ranking points throughout a season and champions can be crowned at different stages of the season, depending on other results.
Fitzgibbons believes that the new WSL Finals will motivate the best female surfers to join the tour like never before.
The Sands are being offered as an ongoing concern on a “step in, step out” basis. Besides the hotel and golf course, the resort also has a health club and swimming pool, along with a restaurant and bar.
Mr. Hathway said the resort offers great investment opportunities, regardless of external market conditions.
“The Sands is in a location of timeless beauty, due to its proximity to world-class beaches [including Bells Beach] and the famous Great Ocean Road,” he said.
Opened in 2007, the resort generates a variety of income streams, including golf club membership and golf fees from public users, accommodation and conferences, health club membership, and revenue from catering services.
“We made a few calls over the past week after our appointment and it looks like the initial interest in the property is promising,” said Lin.
“With the expectation of expanding international borders, we anticipate that locations in the region will continue to see an increase in domestic tourism, which will only benefit,” said Wells. for a property like The Sands at Torquay, especially when Melbourne residents can once again travel. ”
