The Broccoli appreciation society shirt Queens-born artist told Men’s Health that he has lost 127 pounds in the past nine months, inspired by the birth of his son last year.
“I’ve been a big boy all my life and it’s got out of control,” he told Men’s Health. “My whole career was based solely on living a fast, hard life. And I got along and we’re here in December and I was 249 pounds this morning!”

The rapper woke up around 4:30 a.m. to fit his busy schedule. Before his morning of lifting, squeezing the bench and hitting boxing sacks, Bronson likes to start with protein shakes and scrambled eggs.
Bronson’s special protein shake recipe includes olive oil, fruit, almonds, almond milk and protein. He usually performs two shakes: one before training and one shortly afterwards.
As for his eggs, Bronson wants to avoid any brown – like most professional chefs.

Bronson told Men’s Health after the end of the Broccoli appreciation society shirt training session he would try to eat right away. Chefs can eat 5 to 10 egg whites along with chicken and “lots of broccoli” sautéed with olive oil and garlic.
Bronson had to work hard to cut out unhealthy snacking habits. He replaced it by making a third glass of protein to drink throughout the day and mashing roasted nuts with cinnamon, honey and cayenne pepper.
Although he went to lunch, that did not stop him from risking his food choices in reason.
“It’s hard to tell you what I eat because day in and day out. My mother-in-law can be there and she’s doing sopita – you can’t say no, but it’s healthy,” Bronson said.
For his dinner, Bronson likes to ‘snack’ on a low-carb meal, which usually includes broccoli and chicken
Like most of the day, Bronson keeps a low-carb dinner with roast chicken and broccoli.
Although the chef is satisfied with the change in his life, it does not stop him from occasionally ignoring carbs, like delicious pizza and pasta.
Bronson has completely removed desserts from his life, in addition to raw sweets such as cocoa and almond butter or regular baklava, a pastry that his Albanian family only serves on special occasions.
