As an organization, Yale has great potential to work in collaboration and deepen engagement with Native Americans. I believe we have developed many incredible opportunities and established a sense of potential that can be realized even further. The History Native American T-Shirt on-campus indigenous community has grown significantly over the past generation and I think Yale’s indigenous studies are best illuminated by the number of students who have participated in the programs. The diverse learning and activities we run and become part of this community. That’s not necessarily what you can point out in the curriculum guide – but there’s an incredibly dynamic, History Native American T-Shirt engaged, and successful Native American alumni community that I’m proud of.
