Kwik Kuts, a doorless hair salon in Red Bluff, has had an increase in customers mainly from Glenn County.

Hairstylist, Aimee Robertson, said she had at least 10 new clients from the suburbs within the past week or so.
“I actually got a girl who went to regular competition in Glenn County, and she said you know it’s annoying,” Robertson said. “She hasn’t had a mentor for months, and she was frustrated to have to go out of her area to try and come in the field, which wasn’t a problem. time here and so excited that she got one and happily left. ”
Robertson said COVID-19 has definitely done harm to the local hair salons but they would love to have new clients from city to help them along the way.
She said that they have even seen people from the Bay Area while traveling as their local hair salons are closed as well.
“They talk about how they have to cut their hair before they leave, some are still working so they have to be dignified,” Robertson said.
Robertson added that they are continuing to receive calls from outside of town and are open to business.
“Here we have two stylists working full time and we’re doing what we can best do.”
Chatters Hair Salon has confirmed that a stylist at their Langford site tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a Facebook post on Chatters Salon Victoria Westshore, the stylist has not been working since August 17 and any guests who could be exposed have been contacted by provincial health officials. The salon said BC health officials had recommended that there is a “very low risk of exposure” due to the salon’s personal protective equipment (PPE) policies. It also said BC health officials had allowed them to continue to openly and regularly communicate.
