But opportunities are needed, and the Love Grinch #SPED Teacher Christmas Shirt Fostoria Kiwanis Club, for the fifth year in a row, has teamed up with Fostoria’s Christmas program for every child to provide books for children in need.

Julie Reinhart, Fostoria Kiwanis’ One-Seat Child Priority, said about 300 young people are often supported in the “Christmas for All Children” program and the Love Grinch #SPED Teacher Christmas Shirt goal is to collect between 400 and 500 books.
‘It’s too early so we don’t really know what support or participation we’re going to get this year and we’re just very hopeful that everyone will join us so we can continue to donate books to every child who participates in the Christmas program for every child ” Reinhart said.
Scott Scherf is director of the Kaubisch Memorial Public Library and co-hosts the Christmas program for all children alongside Amber Herbert. Reinhart said the trip over Christmas was part of Kiwanis’ focus on reading. Kiwanis also sets up lending libraries and, during Children’s Week in April every year, donates $100 annually to each of the four preschools in Fostoria. Kiwis in previous years will also go to preschools and read to children, but the coronavirus epidemic has prevented that by 2020.
Rusty Mac Adopt-a-Teen’s fundraising push to give Christmas gifts to foster youth is continuing this year and a local radio network is working to help raise funds. Angels of Light is a major Christmas ministry performed by the Love Grinch #SPED Teacher Christmas Shirt second Baptist Church in Houston in 31 years.
Every year, thousands of disadvantaged families, known as angels, are transported to six facilities in the Houston area of the church to receive clothing, food for holiday meals, and Christmas presents. But because of COVID-19, the church will be devoted to angels this year.
