In the town of Passau town on the Danube is the only museum in the world dedicated to dachshunds. The museum is home to all the lovely things from dachshund, from toys, porcelain statues and Christmas decorations, to pictures of owners of the famous dachshund with their pets.
The museum was founded by two florists from Passau, Seppi Küblbeck and Oliver Storz. Together they remember the 25th dachshund anniversary and opened in 2015 on the corner of Residentzplatz. The collection is further expanded by donations from other dachshund lovers.

Our pet of the week from mobile SPCA is a 14-week-old Dachshund puppy named Taz. He is, of course, adorable! He is a fun guy and very busy! He has been in a foster home since he was 3 pounds, and they are working with him on barrel training. His foster father said that he did a great job and knew what to do when you opened his crib and took him out! He will be happy to have in your home.
