However, that’s exactly what the staff of a local healthcare provider did recently when they embarked on a mental boost project that helped them shed light on the workplace together. teamwork and uplifting thanks to the colorful results of team effort.
LowCountry Urgent Care is located on Duncan Bypass in Union. The project is the idea of Practice Director Reva Lindsey, who sees this as a way to bring employees together to do something different from their daily routine. One special activity she hopes will help disrupt the detention of the COVID-19 Virus in the morale of staff and possibly bring things back to normal.
“As we all know, COVID-19 has taken over and changed people’s lives,” says Lindsey. “I thought about something we could do to make work fun again. We decide to do something different monthly and do so as a team building exercise. ”
With that in mind, the LowCountry Urgent Care staff recently took on the first of these monthly projects, and that project has its own special theme that reflects three very good ideas.
“To start with August, the theme is ‘Peace, Love & Happiness’,” says Lindsey. “I chose peace, love and happiness because there is so much anger and depression in the world today. I think doing something positive like this will help turn the situation around and try to get back to normal somewhat ”.
Going back to normal is something everyone dealing with COVID-19 is desperate for these days and that’s especially true for healthcare professionals like the staff at Lowcountry. Urgent Care.
