After numerous organizers through phone calls, group chats, and email, the Facebook group “Mississippi Boaters for Trump,” spearheaded their biggest boat parade to date.
Hundreds of boat people took to the streets to show support for President Donald Trump and voice their political views.

The procession began at Great Lake, with most of the participants gathered hours ago with flags, banners, and clothing supporting the president’s re-election campaign.
The Shonda Noble moderator said: “(The Event) is currently so limited that either party cannot do anything to promote them on a par with those around them.
The group also said a parade on the boat allows supporters to come together without the high risk of spreading COVID-19.
“Our boat is just me and my family. Everyone can just as much social distance as we all need to do, ”Noble said.
The group departs from the meetup point under Popp’s Ferry Bridge and sails out of Biloxi Bay and heads west along the coast. The amount planned is difficult, but the organizers are happy to do the job.
“It’s not a simple task, but it’s definitely worth your time,” Noble says.
That sense of pride was also felt by the crowds on land watching the procession, including Marianne Davis, who visited from Bush, Louisiana, just for the parade.
“I have to hurry here. I was very excited. I love Trump, ”she said.
Davis and other attendees hope the parade will help their candidate at the polls.
Should we be surprised when white Protestants have overwhelmed Donald Trump? (About 81% voted for him in 2016 and about 82% said they plan to do the same thing this November.)
If you believe they are telling the truth about their alleged values, their support for him should be the epitome of hypocrisy. Trump clearly sees the Bible as a tool of strategy and nothing else. His corruption is breathtaking. He has caused more deaths, through his incompetence and neglect, than anyone could imagine. His racism in public. Cruelty seemed to be his only guide light. There is nothing like Jesus about him.
But if you understand that white Protestants have never been interested in those values and using religion to gain political power is always their last game – and they did. This has been repeated for decades, changing their values to suit the times (such as fighting for separation from the fight against abortion rights when previously abortion rights became unacceptable. yes) – then their support for a modern American dictator makes perfect sense.
They support Trump because he truly represents everything they want: Power regardless of the consequences.
