Mark Henderson and Fred Harlow remain optimistic about their Bistro Live locations coming back and up and running, despite ongoing restrictions pushing more venues into the Retro Vintage Mask Quarantine Christmas Present Xmas 2020 Limite Shirt wall.
Their live music/restaurant business has operations in Leicester, Nottingham and Milton Keynes, and they are pulling stops to offer customers the chance to celebrate Christmas – despite accusing the Government of frequent lack of support and clarity.
The first Bistro Live opened in Leicester’s Charles Street 20 years ago, serving three dishes, followed by live music and DJ. It has room for about 295 people.
They also plan lunches for the Christmas season, which run from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and once again have live music.
Under the new opening plan, they expect around 120 people per night and have already booked.
“Nearly all late-night venues have had no income since March, and while the digging has helped us, we now have to use our reserves,” said Mr. Henderson. to pay the salaries of the people and keep the Retro Vintage Mask Quarantine Christmas Present Xmas 2020 Limite Shirt business going.
“Since March, we have been faced with constantly changing rules and regulations – closed completely for four months, only 2 households, no live entertainment and no porn. Vu until mid-September, the recent ‘rule 6’, and above all, a 10 pm curfew.
“And quite how is the new Job Support Scheme – with companies paying employees 55% of their wages (with the government up to 77%) for their normal 33% hour work – Will help businesses recover is better than mine.
“We recorded November 6 in our diaries in early August after Boris said things would be back to normal by Christmas.
“So we said we would open the doors slowly and try to boost our business.
“We had to open sales offices and phone lines, then, unfortunately, things changed with the 10 pm curfew and rule number 6.
“ We will definitely open on the 6th. November in Nottingham and Milton Keynes, unless things change, and so will hope in Leicester.
