Why? To answer that question, you must go back to the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, not long after the state of Indiana had a hard time during the school year.
“These scavenger hunts became common; all the children were looking for bears,” Dixon recalled. “Well, our house is a bit off the road, and I thought nobody would see any teddy bears in our window, so I decided to do something different.”

Dixon says once people start looking forward, they’ll try to get her in the act of shaping the skeletons. She will change the timing so she won’t get caught.
“I was out there early in the morning, like 5 a.m., before sunrise,” she said. “I like that people will have something new to look forward to in the morning.
