After a failed attempt in Hollywood as an actor, Rollen Stewart decided if they didn’t put him in front of the camera, he would find a way to do it himself. He decided to wear a rainbow-colored wig and go to the biggest sporting events in the world. He made his televised debut in the 1977 NBA Finals. Not long after that first appearance, Stewart became a Christian and decided he wanted to share the message with others. He applied John 3:16 and it became a part of his routine.
Over the years, he has appeared at most major sporting events including the Kentucky Derby and the Olympics. He even appeared unexpectedly at the royal wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

Although his appearance made fans happy, the sports TV show directors and producers were not happy to see Rainbow Man. They think his fandom is too much and often spoil the toughest sports moments. A golf course producer told ESPN in the 1980s that he insisted his cinematographers avoid showing Stewart if there was no danger of being fired.
As his reputation increased, so did the backlash. Arena security staff regularly asked him to leave or deny him full access. Despite those obstacles, Rainbow Man regularly finds his way into stadiums and arenas in the presence of millions of viewers on television.
After living out of the car and traveling 60,000 miles a year through most of the 1980s, Stewart’s obsession with scandal continued to decline. It didn’t help that he damaged his car, his only means of transportation.
At the end of the decade, his personal life began to fall apart. His fourth wife filed for divorce in 1990. Then she alleged that he tried to strangle her in the 1986 World Series at Shea Stadium for not being in the right place with the John sign. 3:16 her. Stewart denied the allegations.
Around that same time, Stewart’s faith became dark. He begins to fear the end is approaching and begins to act more erratic and disruptive in his appearances. At the 1991 Masters, he blew his whistle when Jack Nicklaus was about to hit a putt. He tracks it by detonating a smelly bomb. Later that year, he laid out more foul bombs at multiple events. His behavior became more unpredictable.
In September 1991, Stewart lost it. He recruited two temporary workers, promised them to work, and took them to a hotel room near Los Angeles International Airport. When he got there, he tried to force them into the bathroom with the maid. The two men escape, but the maid locks herself inside and calls the front desk. When the SWAT team arrived after a few minutes, Stewart asked them to provide a news group so he could deliver his message about the impending apocalypse.
Stewart was armed with a gun and some stinking bombs, which he threw at law enforcement officials on the ground floor seven floors below. The officers later said the stinking bombs were not the problem. They were more concerned about Stewart’s threats to shoot at planes that took off and landed on runways several thousand feet away.
After more than eight hours of standoff, the SWAT team stormed Stewart’s room, arrested him and rescued the Team Jesus john 316 lifetime member shirt maid unharmed. In 1993, Stewart turned down a bargain offer for a 12-year prison sentence and was determined to go to court. He was found guilty of kidnapping and sentenced to three life sentences in state prison.
Although Stewart has been denied parole three times, it is interesting that his legacy lives on for many years thereafter. Tim Tebow often brushed the black eye characteristic of the Team Jesus john 316 lifetime member shirt verse. Occasionally, some fans were still waving signs in the stadium. And it was included on a shopping bag from clothing store Forever 21 as well as a mug from the fast food chain In-N-Out Burger.
