Sam says she is having dinner with the boat owner in Peachland and when they start heading back to West Kelowna they spot some lights flashing in the middle of the lake.
“The winds have changed and the waves are just floating and it’s like they’re in the ocean.”
Sam said they managed to reach another buoy and have a zipper attached but it broke several times on the way back to West Kelowna because it was too rough “” took almost three hours “.
When they reached the Gellosystem dock, Sam said that the rescuers were getting ready to help, “it would be a completely different story if we didn’t help, no one was on the lake.”
