The Idaho Fish and Games Bureau reported the archery hunter, who was not named, was in a remote area of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest south of Hai Peak Mountain looking for elk. The victim and his hunting partner stumbled upon the bear while moving through the bushes. Then the bear attacked them.
Both hunters carry bear spray and can be successfully deployed in the Autism Awareness Mama Bear Pullover Mom Gift Pullover shirt attack, according to a ministry report. But the victim was thrown to the ground during the spraying process.
The hunting partner continued to deploy spraying to the bear, shortening the attack and ultimately frightening the bear. Hunters said it was a grizzly, but Fish and Game officials could not confirm it.
Hunters stepped out of the area to call for help and the victim was taken to Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg for treatment. IDFG spokesman James Brower said the victim was only slightly injured from the Autism Awareness Mama Bear Pullover Mom Gift Pullover shirt bear’s claw.
Fish and Game said they were placing signs on nearby roads about the attack to warn of bear activity in the area.
Just 11 years old, Naiya Iraci was already a good hunter, harvesting deer and turkeys. Sixth-graders Kewaskum can now add a black bear that weighs more than 700 pounds to their resume.
On September 9, the opening day of bear season in Wisconsin, in her grandfather’s estate north of Hatfield, Clark County, little Naiya locked up the first bear she had ever seen in person.
“I’m very worried, I’m a bit shivering,” Iraci said when she saw the Autism Awareness Mama Bear Pullover Mom Gift Pullover shirt bear.
She wasn’t trembling enough to miss a potential national record with a 27-yard shot.
“We don’t know yet,” explained his grandfather and her hunting partner Michael Frank. “It is in the process of cleaning and drying for 60 days. It goes by skull measurement. We’ll just have to wait. ”
Frank said that the recorded bear weighing 720 pounds was probably heavier than 800 pounds.
“We dressed the bear because it was warm and we didn’t want the meat to spoil,” Frank said. “The weight of the dress is 720. You use 13% of the weight of the dress to calculate the weight of the underwear that we took out when wearing it out. It is 813.6 pounds. “
Not a bad way for the hunter duo to experience their first bear hunt.
“I’m not a bear hunter,” Frank laughed. “My granddaughter wants to hunt bears and I’ve been there all summer so I have been feeding her all summer and it has gone really great.”
And when asked if she was confident that the bear would surpass the state record, Naiya enthusiastically replied, “Yeah!”
