The shooting took place just outside The Frog Hop, where the memorial of 2-year-old Raelynn Elise Craig is located.
The victim’s family visited the memorial on Monday leaving a sign between all teddy bears and candles. Kennedy Sollars said their family was deeply heartbroken about Raelynn.
I asked God for an angel he sent me my daughter Cross shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater

“She is an angel. She’s very smart, I always thought she was very smart, ”said Sollars. “She has always been a warrior. She was born prematurely and she defeated all difficulties and she was here. ”
Sollars reminisce about their relationship and her little son with Raelynn and all their memories together.
“We were pregnant at the same time as Rae and Hudson… it was his first love – his first girlfriend. It’s heartbreaking, ”said Sollars.
It was a very moving visit to Raelynn’s memorial for Sollars. But, all she and her family wanted to share was the need to end gun violence in the community.
“People need to stop playing with these guns here and think they’re cool,” Sollars said. “The children are being killed. She has her whole life ahead. Her mother will never be able to wake up and hug her again. That is her only child ”.
Two other victims were treated at the hospital. One male has been treated and released, and the other is still being treated but the condition is stable.
Captain Jeff Wilson of the St. Police Department. Joseph said the shooting was linked to recent violent activity.
New interactive mural art has been painted at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home in Salem this summer. It is an angel wing, similar to a famous mural in Nashville, Tenn. Social media and text messages are a more important part of our lives today than ever before, so it’s great to share this interactive art with the community, ”said Dan Madden, president of Stark Memorial said.
Vickie was diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer two days before she was murdered, according to her family. The news of cancer and being killed made her family wonder why this could have happened to such a good person.
“She can turn a bad day into a bright one,” said Cheryl Wagner, her cousin. “She is an angel.”
Before she died, Vickie planned to donate kidneys to “a friend of a friend,” her family said. That plan was derailed due to her cancer.
Now, there is a GoFundMe site set up to raise money to continue Vickie’s dedication legacy.
“We are asking you to continue her tribute legacy,” the page writes. “Whether it’s this fund to support the final expenses her family will have, for the I asked god for an angel he sent me my daughter Cross shirt kidney transplant fundraiser she’d love to give, to your favorite charity or to step up. continues in her memory and is tested to become her angel. spent the last day of his life searching in vain. ”
