John Goodman left his son a $10 order to buy his first beer, a secret his mother and sister had kept him secret over the years.

On December 6, Taunton, Massachusetts residents used the It’s a Packers and Beer kinda day shirt money to drink their first legal drink.
“Knowing that he thinks about a big moment in the future in my life means everything, because even when he’s gone, he’s still doing whatever he can to celebrate my 21st birthday,” Goodman told CNN. “It’s probably the most amazing gift I’ve ever received.”
While alive, John Goodman made sure never to miss a big moment in his son’s life. He’s there in every game, every birthday and every pain. Buying your son the first beer only makes sense.
“Not having him by my side is obviously the It’s a Packers and Beer kinda day shirt hardest thing in my life since he was my best friend,” Goodman said. He’s a giant who can do anything in the world to make me happy.”
After finishing his beer, Goodman shared the touchy story on Twitter, where it has attracted more than 540,000 likes.
“Cheers pops havin ‘this for you!” he captioned a photo of the $10 note and he was drinking beer.
The post went viral and even caught the attention of brewing giant Budweiser, who sent Goodman eight boxes of beer.
“We’re raising a glass for you, Matt. He got your first beer and the next one for us,” Budweiser tweeted in response to Goodman’s post.
