One of the drivers involved in the fatal crash on I-69 spoke to WANE 15 about the Retro Vintage Wreck Everyone And Leave shirt crash.

Carsten Everidge, 24, was on his way home on Wednesday afternoon when the Retro Vintage Wreck Everyone And Leave shirt wreckage happened.
“I’ve had some meetings in Fort Wayne and I’m coming back and I don’t know why I’m looking in my mirror, I think I’ve definitely heard an impact behind me, and I look into my mirror and I see half about to hit me, ”says Everidge. “I sucked as much as I could and got out of the way and I got a little cut but I almost got out.”
According to Indiana State Police, Angolan 70-year-old James Crager was traveling north on I-69 in a semi truck carrying bales of hay when he could not slow down when traffic in the Retro Vintage Wreck Everyone And Leave shirt construction area. Crager’s semi continued to join the traffic, which the police said began a series of dire events that left 3 people dead and 3 others injured. Everidge left the scene uninjured and said once the situation got in his mind, he tried to help others involved in the wreck.
“I did everything I could to try to help until the Retro Vintage Wreck Everyone And Leave shirt paramedics got there and everything and most of the people involved and the people around were shocked,” said Everidge.
He said he didn’t want to go into detail about how he tried to help the Retro Vintage Wreck Everyone And Leave shirt families of others involved. Some witnesses of the plane’s wreck also tried to help, but Everidge said most people stopped to do so to take pictures or video of the scene.
He credits the first responders for appeasing those present at the Retro Vintage Wreck Everyone And Leave shirt scene, saying that their calm and collected approach to handling the scene helped soothe nerves.
The wreck is an experience Everidge says he will never forget.
“It’s crazy,” says Everidge, “when you go from an ordinary day to the most surreal experience of your life. “It’s really surreal and it’s been going on in my head since then so I just try to work busy.”
