If you’re a service member or their family member lives far from your polling area or a U.S. citizen abroad, it won’t be too late to vote —even if you haven’t received the Official i voted 2020 Shirt, Hoodie, Tank top, Sweater required absentee ballot from your elections official.

In some states, it’s not even too late to register to vote, as it can be done electronically.
Count Every Hero, an organization led by retired generals and admirals, also asked news broadcasters not to declare any election winners until all military votes were checked.

Under the Absentee Ballot Act for citizens with unity and abroad, commonly known as UOCAVA, states must come up with certain provisions to make it easier for UOCAVA voters to vote. Ballots cast by email, fax, or online must be received by 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. If the ballot is returned by mail, no postmark is required, but the absentee ballot sent by mail must be received by 5:00 p.m. on November 12. In North Carolina, the FWAB can also be used to register to vote, but simply make sure to register before the 5 p.m. voter registration deadline. November 2.

The voting registration deadline has passed. You can request a ballot by email, fax or online, by November 3. To return your ballot, if you are in the United States, it must be sent and received by 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. If you are outside the United States, you can fax or send it by mail. Faxed vouchers must be received by 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. If you mail a ballot from abroad, it must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 13.

If your state requires ballots to be mailed, be aware that military members and their families abroad have the advantage of free express service using the 11-DoD Label. Each ballot cast at an overseas military post will receive an 11-DoD Label, which automatically transfers it quickly.
