Former Simpsons host Bill Oakley The Simpsons Family ghostbuster New shirt has told fans he is “unclear” about comparisons made between Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani and the cartoon’s hard-line lawyer Lionel Hutz.

Fans of the show flooded social media with memes after Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City, gave a heated performance during a press conference that resulted in hair dye flowing out and dripped down his face.

The combating lawyer was the face of President Trump’s efforts to get through the election results, which saw his Democratic rival Joe Biden win a majority of the popular vote and the Electoral College.

Oakley, who won three Emmy Awards for his work on the show, said he would not compare Giuliani to Hutz – a cymym lawyer who frequently bills himself as a fool.

Hutz has not appeared on The Simpsons since 1997 since the death of voice actor Phil Hartman.
